Crypto Kidnapping Frenzy Strikes Again in France: TikTok Influencer Targeted, But Escapes Unscathed

From TikTok Fame to a Terrifying Ordeal

Holy smokes, it happened again! France is seeing a crazy wave of crypto kidnappings, and this time it's a 26-year-old TikTok influencer who got snatched. These thugs thought they hit the jackpot, but guess what? They walked away with zilch!

A Brutal Abduction in the Paris Suburbs

It was a chilling Friday night in Juvisy-sur-Orge, just south of Paris, when our TikTok star was heading home. Out of nowhere, four masked men jumped him, shoved him into a stolen car, and the nightmare began. They beat him, tortured him—trying to break him down.

Ransom Demands and a Shocking Twist

These crooks had one goal: cash out. They demanded a whopping €50,000 in crypto, thinking his 40,000 followers were a goldmine. But here's the kicker—they checked his account, and it was emptier than a ghost town. No money, no ransom, and they had no choice but to let him go.

The Dark Side of Social Media Wealth

Turns out, faking it till you make it on social media can land you in hot water. One tweet summed it up: "A 26 year old TikTok influencer was kidnapped by 4 men in… you guessed it… France but was released after they realized he didn’t have as much money as he said he did online. Fake PnL screenshots are never worth it."

A Disturbing Trend on the Rise

This isn't an isolated incident. French authorities are scrambling, handing the case over to the big guns—the Organized and Specialized Crime Division. Just weeks ago, they rescued the father of a well-known crypto investor and streamer who was kidnapped and mutilated over a €7 million ransom in crypto.

Another Narrow Escape and a Sinister Network

And there's more. The 34-year-old daughter of the CEO of a Paris-based crypto exchange was nearly snatched too. Luckily, her partner and some brave bystanders saved the day. Even though the attackers got away, cops linked this to the same twisted kidnapping ring.

The Hunt for the Masterminds

The cops aren't playing around. They've made arrests left and right, and they're hot on the trail of others involved in this sick extortion scheme. One suspect, a 24-year-old named Badiss Mohamed Amide Bajjou, was nabbed in Morocco. They say he's the brains behind several of these brutal kidnappings.
