Over the past day, CryptoPunks have experienced a surge in purchases, with its floor price now at 42 ETH per NFT.

Data from the official website shows that the Yuga Labs-supported NFT collection has had 19 sales of its one-of-a-kind pixelated avatar heads in the past 24 hours. This recent increase in CryptoPunks buyer activity has resulted in an 18.75% rise in transactions, moving the NFT collection up to the second-largest spot according to data from CryptoSlam.

The highest purchase in the past 24 hours was CryptoPunk #2301, featuring an avatar with an eyepatch and a hoodie, which sold for 115 ETH (ETH) or $235,190 at current prices.

As of now, the floor price for CryptoPunks is 42 ETH. This is a 5% increase compared to the day before when its floor price was below 40 ETH. Earlier today, the floor price dipped to 39.39 ETH.

In the past 24 hours, CryptoPunks NFTs have totaled sales of 915.37 ETH. According to current market prices, today's total sales amount to over $1.8 million. Ethereum is currently trading at $2,060 according to data from crypto.news.

Over the past month, the NFT collection sales have risen by nearly 20%, indicating an upward trend. However, despite the recent rise in buyer activity, its daily trading volume has noticeably decreased by 21.8%. Its market cap currently stands at 419,748 ETH, which is equivalent to around $865 million.

In the past week, the Yuga Labs-backed collection has dominated the top NFT collectible sales, with CryptoPunks #2967 valued at $843,070, which was sold on March 23.

CryptoPunks, an NFT collection launched in 2017, consists of 10,000 unique pixel art avatars that traders can mint on the Ethereum blockchain. In October 2024, publishing firm Phaidon released an 800-page book documenting all 10,000 Punks ever created. The book, titled "CryptoPunks: Free to Claim," was written and compiled by creative director Zak Kyes, web3 lifestyle in partnership with Yuga Labs.
