Canadian Crypto Giant Powers Up 100-Megawatt Beast, Targets 25 EH/s by 2025

HIVE Digital, the daring Canadian Bitcoin miners, have just flipped the switch on their colossal new facility in Paraguay, gunning for a mind-blowing 25 exahash per second by fall 2025!

Shares of HIVE Digital blasted off 2% in pre-market trading on April 21 as they dropped the bomb about finishing the first phase of their 100-megawatt beast in Paraguay. In a Sunday press release that shook the crypto world, HIVE Digital revealed their Yguazù site is now fully juiced up and decked out, ready to host 5 exahash per second for ASIC miners.

These guys are not messing around! HIVE's already cranking 200 petahash per second using their in-house BUZZ Miners, with plans to get 8,000 units up and running by the end of April. And guess what? The first wave of Bitmain S21+ miners has hit the ground, with over 20,000 units expected to join the party before May's out.

By the end of Q2, HIVE's aiming to pump up to 5 EH/s in Paraguay and a whopping 11.5 EH/s globally. As HIVE Digital's chief operating officer Luke Rossy puts it, they're on track to hit 25 EH/s by fall 2025, minting over 12 BTC daily.
