The value of Mantra's token has been steadily increasing, rising by 12% in the past week, which has propelled it to the second position among Real World Asset tokens based on market capitalization.
Mantra's (OM) market cap is currently around $6.8 billion, making it a close competitor to Chainlink (LINK). Mantra has emerged as one of the top-performing layer 1 tokens in 2025, as indicated by its impressive performance.
Examining the chart, OM has been on a persistent uptrend since the beginning of 2024, rising from nearly zero to nearly $10. The recent surge follows a brief period of consolidation, during which the price remained above crucial support levels before breaking out once again.
Currently trading at approximately $6.90, OM's indicators suggest further potential for growth. The tightening Bollinger Bands indicate an upcoming increase in volatility. The MACD is still in the buy zone, while the RSI is at 58.28, indicating neutral-to-bullish momentum. An ADX reading of 36.31 confirms that the trend is gaining strength.
One significant resistance level to watch out for is the previous local high of $8.17. If the price breaks above this level, it could potentially surge towards $10, a significant psychological milestone. The support levels on the downside are located at $6.76 and $5.54, which correspond to the lower Bollinger Band and the 20-day moving average, respectively.
According to Coinglass data, the open interest in OM futures has increased, rising from a monthly low of $319 million to $378 million. This suggests that traders are increasing their exposure, which often indicates growing confidence in the price direction.
Apart from price action, OM's fundamentals remain robust. The project has successfully tokenized over $500 million in assets, including real estate, and obtained a Virtual Asset Service Provider license from Dubai's regulator in February. Strategic partnerships have also contributed to its growth, with deals totaling over $1 billion, including a major partnership with DAMAC Group in early 2025.
Meanwhile, the community is preparing for the Mantra airdrop amid technical challenges. After discovering more than 123,000 fraudulent wallets during its GenDrop campaign on Mar. 18, Mantra initiated a 48-hour-long governance vote to decide how to handle 26.9 million OM that were flagged as suspicious.
To prevent intentional market manipulation, the team confirmed that the GenDrop allocation will be released without prior notice and will constitute a 10% unlock, or 1,987,555.64 OM.
