Crypto Market Bounces Back: Bitcoin and Ethereum on the Rise

The NFT world is on fire, folks! Sales volume has skyrocketed by a whopping 10.69%, hitting a cool $115 million. That's right, the market's been sizzling hot for two weeks straight, according to the latest data from CryptoSlam. And guess what? Bitcoin's not sitting on the sidelines either—it's bounced back to a solid $103,000. Meanwhile, Ethereum's been on a tear, surging 35% over the last seven days and now chilling at $2,400.

Global Crypto Market Cap Soars, But NFT Market Sees Sharp Decline in Participation

The global crypto market cap? It's now a mind-blowing $3.33 trillion, up from last week's $3 trillion. But hold on, it's not all sunshine and rainbows. Despite those soaring sales, the number of people jumping into the NFT game has taken a nosedive. We're talking a jaw-dropping 76.8% drop in NFT buyers, leaving us with just 126,075. And sellers? They've plummeted 74.42% to 72,336. Even transactions have taken a hit, down 11.57% to 1,524,846.

Ethereum Dominates NFT Sales, Polygon and Mythos Chain Follow Close Behind

Ethereum's not just playing around—it's solidified its spot at the top with a massive $37.5 million in sales, a 54.17% jump from last week. But wait, there's more: Ethereum's wash trading has also spiked by 50.24% to $4.9 million. Polygon's holding strong in second place, but it's seen an 8.08% dip in sales to $19.1 million. Mythos Chain? It's right behind with $15.6 million.

Bitcoin and Solana Make the Top Five, But Buyer Numbers Drop Across the Board

Bitcoin's not far behind, snagging fourth place with $14 million, up 4.65% from last week. And rounding out the top five, we've got Solana with $7.9 million, though it's seen a 5.71% drop in sales volume. But here's the kicker: buyer counts are down across all major blockchains. Bitcoin took the biggest hit at 86.99%, followed by Solana at 86.51% and Mythos Chain at 76.68%.

In the collection rankings, Courtyard on Polygon is still the king of the hill with a staggering $17.4 million in sales. But, the number of sellers has dropped by 42.18%. DMarket's in second place with $10.5 million, up 4.59%. And Guild of Guardians Heroes? It's holding steady in third with $5.6 million and a 15.44% increase.

Doodles Soars to Fourth Place, CryptoPunks Climbs to Fifth

Now, here's where things get wild. Doodles has blasted into the top five at fourth place with $5.6 million in sales. That's a mind-blowing 490.68% increase in just seven days! Transactions are up 769.68%, buyers have surged 618%, and sellers are up 469.57%. What's behind this explosion? The launch of their native token DOOD, that's what!

And let's not forget CryptoPunks, which has climbed to fifth place with $3.5 million in sales. They've seen increases in transactions (18.52%), buyers (83.33%), and sellers (15.79%).
