Crypto Gamblers Go All In: Betting Big on Bitcoin's Next Surge and Airdrop Frenzy!

Holy smokes, the crypto crowd is buzzing! Traders are throwing down serious cash on Polymarket, betting on everything from Bitcoin's next sky-high peak to juicy airdrops set to drop in Q2 2025. It's like the wild west out there!

As of May 16, the betting crowd is all in on Bitcoin (BTC) hitting somewhere between $110,000 to $130,000 this year. A whopping 87% of these thrill-seekers have bet a cool $1.7 million on BTC soaring to $110,000. But wait, there's more! Another 72% are dreaming even bigger, betting on BTC rocketing to $120,000!

And hold onto your hats, because 67% of these daring bettors are going for the gold, predicting Bitcoin could smash through to $130,000 by year's end!

Right now, Bitcoin's trading at $103,953, up a solid 1.6% in the last 24 hours. It's been on a tear lately, thanks to that hot new trade deal between the U.S. and China. It even broke past $105,000 on May 12, but hasn't hit any new highs since.

BTC's last all-time high was on Jan. 20, 2025, when it blasted off to $108,786. Right now, it's still 4.4% shy of that record.

But Bitcoin's not the only game in town. Polymarket's gamblers are also betting big on the Hyperliquid token, HYPE (HYPE), predicting it could jump to $28 before June 2025. About 62% of traders have thrown down $1,349 on HYPE hitting $28 before June, while another 38% are betting it'll reach $30 before then.

Currently, HYPE's trading at $26.73. It hit a peak of $27 in the last 24 hours. The token's last all-time high was back in December last year at $34.96. Since then, it's struggled to get back above $30, even dipping as low as $10.27 in early April.

And get this, another Polymarket betting pool is all over the AI-inspired FARTCOIN (FARTCOIN), predicting it could hit $1.50 before June. A solid 75% have bet on this meme coin reaching $1.50, while nearly 20% think it could even make it to $2 before June.

FARTCOIN's up 0.17% in the last 24 hours, currently trading at $1.28, just a bit off its daily high of $1.35.

The last time this meme coin hit $2 and $1.50 was back in January, and it hasn't been able to climb back to those heights since.

Polymarket Airdrop Predictions for Q2 2025

Get ready for some serious airdrop action! According to a Polymarket betting pool called "Airdrops in Q2 2025," traders are betting on which projects are most likely to shower their holders with free tokens by June 30 this year.

Right now, Linea is leading the pack, with 40% of traders betting it'll be the one to drop an airdrop. Hot on its heels is the Ethereum (ETH) wallet Rainbow, with 34% of bets, followed by the meme coin launchpad Pump.fun at 28%.
