UK's Smarter Web Company Goes Big on Bitcoin Again, Snags 325 BTC!

Another Multi-Million Dollar Move in Crypto!

Hold onto your hats, crypto fans! The UK's Smarter Web Company just upped its Bitcoin game with a whopping £27.15 million buy! That's right, they snagged 325 more BTC, pushing their total to a cool 1,600 BTC. This latest scoop happened on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, with each coin coming in at £83,525. In dollars, we're talking $36.45 million spent at $112,157 per Bitcoin. Talk about a power move!

Just last week, these guys were at it too, grabbing 275 BTC for $108,182 each. It's clear Smarter Web isn't messing around with their treasury growth strategy. They're now rubbing shoulders with the top 25 institutional Bitcoin holders worldwide. How's that for climbing the crypto ladder?

Smarter Web kicked off their ten-year Bitcoin buying spree not long ago, and they're playing the long game. They've been snatching up BTC at an average of £79,534, which is about $106,798. With Bitcoin now flirting around $118,700, their stash is up by about 11%. Not too shabby for a young treasury!

This isn't Smarter Web's first dance with crypto. They've been in the game since 2023, even accepting Bitcoin payments. Their growing pile of BTC is part of a bigger trend where old-school companies are starting to take Bitcoin seriously as a long-term investment.

It's not just the UK getting in on the action. Over in France, the Blockchain Group is also all in on Bitcoin, becoming the region's first dedicated Bitcoin treasury firm. Meanwhile, companies in the U.S. and Japan are also stacking their reserves, boosting institutional adoption like never before.

And it's not just these firms; about 125 institutions are now holding Bitcoin in their treasuries. That's a jump of 60.9% from the first quarter to the second. The Bitcoin party is definitely heating up!

Speaking of Bitcoin, the king of crypto just broke the $123,000 barrier and is currently chilling at around $119,300. That's a near 3% rise in the last 24 hours. Bitcoin's on fire, and it doesn't look like it's slowing down anytime soon!
