📜 Embracing What's Next For Tatsu
Listen up, folks! Tatsu's got some tough news to spill. We're waving goodbye to Tatsumeeko, but don't you worry, we're still in the game! Armed with fresh insights and laser focus, we're diving headfirst into Project: Wander, a mind-blowing new adventure. Buckle up, it's gonna be wild! pic.twitter.com/f5esIasfdt
In a jaw-dropping Monday blog post, the Singapore-based crew spilled the beans, saying they hit the brakes after a bunch of playtests that teased greatness but just couldn't cut the mustard for a long-haul winner.
"We were buzzing with excitement over the ideas, and there were flashes of brilliance, but in the end, we couldn't see a sustainable path forward. We get that this stings for all you fans who were all in on Lumina Fates, and we're truly grateful for every ounce of your passion and anticipation along the way."
Tatsu Works
Tatsumeeko: Lumina Fates was all set to rock the Ethereum and Solana blockchains, tossing in NFTs for some seriously unique digital swag and a fresh twist on gaming biz. It was riding high on the success of Tatsu.GG, their Discord-based playground that's supposedly been cranking up the fun for over 1.4 million communities and 60 million users.
"We're all about crafting experiences that pulse and evolve with the crowd. With Project: Wander already cooking, we're set to bring your digital hangouts to life like never before. It's gonna be a wild ride, boosting your creativity to new heights."
Tatsu Works
Even though they're kissing Lumina Fates goodbye, Tatsu Works is spinning the wheel back to what they do best—building games that grow and groove with their communities. And hey, they're not leaving anyone in the dust; they're flipping those existing NFTs like Meekolony Passes and Aethereal Parcels into cool new tools for their upcoming adventures, keeping everyone in the loop.
Tatsu Works nabbed that $7.5 million in June 2022 through a seed round for Tatsumeeko: Lumina Fates, with heavy hitters like DeFiance Capital, Delphi Ventures, and Bitkraft Ventures leading the charge. Other big names like Binance Labs, Animoca Brands, Dialectic, and GuildFi also threw their hats in the ring.
