Bitcoin Dips Amid Israel-Iran Conflict, But Investors Are Snapping Up The Dip
Nansen's research whiz is spilling the beans: those exchange outflows? They're a sign investors are diving in to buy the dip!
The clash between Israel and Iran has sent Bitcoin (BTC) tumbling. Yet, amidst the chaos, Nansen's research guru Nicolai Søndergaard says the smart money's not backing down. In a hot-off-the-press statement dropped on June 23, Søndergaard spilled the tea on what the crypto whales are gobbling up.
"We're spotting those exchange outflows like crazy, so it's a safe bet folks—from your everyday Joe to the big institutions—are snatching up the dip," Søndergaard fired off in a note. "When war and global disruptions hit, you get these wild short-term dips, but they usually bounce back," he added, dropping some serious wisdom.
This time around, post the Israel-Iran showdown that dragged the U.S. in, it's looking like déjà vu all over again. Søndergaard's got his eyes peeled, saying the rebound's gonna hinge on how rough things get next. Still, he's adamant: the smart cash is betting on a brighter future than most folks expect.
"Despite the craziness, the smart money's still leaning into risk, just a bit more cautiously," Søndergaard revealed, dropping some juicy analytics from Nansen's platform.
Whales Are Going All-In On Memecoins, Even As Bitcoin Takes A Hit
Nansen's data's blowing the lid off the memecoin mania among the big fish. All the top dogs raking in the cash over the last week, boasting at least a 50% win rate, had their hands in the memecoin cookie jar.
The biggest baller of 'em all made their entire fortune on memecoins, pulling off a mind-blowing 2,829% ROI and pocketing a net profit of 196%. Most of those sweet gains? From the USELESS memecoin token.
On June 23, memecoins staged a comeback that had everyone talking, with the top dogs seeing double-digit gains. SPX6900 shot up 20%, Fartcoin soared 17%, and Mog Coin jumped 22%. But let's be real, those gains weren't enough to erase the weekly losses.
